The Vision Quest

Twelve days for Interbeing with the living world, your inner growth and initiation into the next life-circle ahead: Four days of preperation and focussing on the depth of your transition. Four days and nights alone in the wilderness, fasting and without shelter: only a sleeping bag for protection, a tarp against the elements, a sleeping mat, and sufficient drinking water for the body. **Four days of reflection, story-telling, mirroring and integration.

The Vision Quest is a ritual practiced in many cultures throughout history to help people navigate crises and mark transitions from one life phase to another. While living conditions in the modern world have changed, the existential crises and transitions remain the same: the passage from youth into adulthood, entering family life, midlife, and the transition into old age all call for consciously shaped rites of passage, rituals, and initiation.

Major life decisions—whether partnership or separation, professional reorientation, spiritual belonging or illness—often require a retreat from everyday life in order to gain inner clarity and strength for the next step.
